the seccesion is great, also visit the museum quarter, there you will find alot of schieles work...also wonderfull, nomally there is some klimt exhibition somewhere, you just have to ask and keep your eyes open..

I love his cool sence of beauty, he had no "burning" geniuse, his art is very cool, like a breeze...gentle, sensual and incredible peacefull, like the old masters...

Yes, I admire Klimt's paintings. I especially love his paintings Philosophy, Medicine, and Jurisprudence, which have the most complicated compositions and techniques I've ever known. I thought he was a genius when I saw and read about those three paintings. I'm very sad those three masterpieces no longer exist since they were destroyed at the end of WWII. I also love how he lived as an artist who accomplished what he really wanted to express in his art...even though the public was against his art. I've been to Vienna twice (1990 and 2001) and visited the secession building to see his "The Beethoven Frieze" ...the paintings were amazing. I hope to visit Vienna again someday.

Dear Kumiko your artwork, specially the genji series is awesome. Iam from austria so Iam in love with Klimt and this seires reminds me on some sort of klimt-japanese woodcut style (both are similar or?)...buts it is still more then unique,
