Traditional Art with the Human Form All creation, including the human body, is beautiful. The human form is one of most fascinating objects for many artists to work on and it has been used as a subject by traditional artists in so many different ways throughout history. The human body is able to express emotions through movement. Also, the face can speak without words and expresses intangible feelings that are difficult to quantify. It creates complex patterns and varying moods. My Journal 3: Artwork B&W Photography I’d love to share some of my art/hobby work besides the painting and drawing such as photograph, sculpture, ceramics, and masks in my Journal. Since I’m a traditional artist, I want to keep my gallery for showing only paintings and drawings. So, I would like to start with some black and white photography in my Journal this time. I used an old model Pentax (K1000) camera, which is the fully manual 35mm SLR. I rented it for a semester from the Journalism department--that was the only type they had when I was a college student.
