My Journal 3: Artwork B&W Photography

I’d love to share some of my art/hobby work besides the painting and drawing such as photograph, sculpture, ceramics, and masks in my Journal. Since I’m a traditional artist, I want to keep my gallery for showing only paintings and drawings. So, I would like to start with some black and white photography in my Journal this time. I used an old model Pentax (K1000) camera, which is the fully manual 35mm SLR. I rented it for a semester from the Journalism department--that was the only type they had when I was a college student. These photographs were taken in year 2000 when I took a photography class at the University in the U.S. These photos are not digital image so they lost some quality in the process of scanning them from the actual picture image on paper to the computer.

Also, I would like to say thank you to JA :iconzeruch: for featuring my painting “Japanese women: Enlightenment” on the Daily Deviation on 2007-06-06. It was great exposure and brought many visitors to my gallery on dA and even to my own website. On the first morning, I was just wondering why so many visitors had visited already and someone left the comment “Congats for the DD” but I didn’t know DD meant… it took a while to figure out what was happening. Thank you to JA and I really appreciate it as well as how he wrote about my paintings in the DD comment.
